Family Time

This year was our first time doing family pictures.  We did it at the Mesa Art Center, very fun place.  I highly recommend taking pictures there, a lot of cool features.  We brought our dogs Oakley (big dog, 8 months) and Brody (little dog, 1 year old).  It was fun having the dogs with us but a little stressful.  Our photographer did a great job, thanks Sister Jackson!  We love the pictures, and hope to print pictures soon to frame in our house.

Bachelorette Party

Leah Prince got married to Mike Owen on December 4, 2009.  Earlier that week I threw a Bachelorette Party for my best friend.  It was a little small party, but us girls had a blast.  We played Bachelorette Bingo and 20 Questions About the Bride.  We had a twist thought for the question game, we had to answer to what we thought Leah would answer to the questions.  Amanda won the game and got a fabulous pink boa for the prize.  Leah opened some gifts and she got a lot of cute stuff.  I am jealous! We got pedicures done by Amanda, and are feet looked and felt gorgeous.
Thanks to all the girls in helping throw the party for Leah!  Right now, Leah and Mike are honeymooning in Hawaii....Lucky!

Snow in Mesa

At our HOA Christmas party we had snow! At first when I heard there was going to be snow at the park, I thought of like fake snow from the movies.  Well as it turned out,  they ordered real snow from a company.  A huge truck brought in the snow and dumped it in the middle of the park.  Everyone had a blast.  Kids brought their sleds and people were having snowball fights.  I actually got nailed in the stomach from one of our webelos! It was very cold and cloudy all day, so it actually felt like it was snowy day.  Surprisingly, the snow stayed in the park for 2 days!

Santa Clause Comin' to Town!

This year Joe got to be our neighborhood Santa Clause.  If I must say I always thought Santa was very handsome! The neighbors and kids loved Santa.  Joe was a little nervous about the ability to pull it off, but he did a great job.  We introduced our dogs to "Santa"...Oakley DID NOT like him one bit.  He was growling and shaking, and his hair stood straight up.  Brody went right up to him and started wagging is tail and jumping on him.  Maybe one day, Oakley and Santa can work it out and be friends.
